When can you introduce fruit juices?
Babies younger than 12 months should not be given juice as their body doesn't need it. After 12 months of age, you can offer him 100% fresh fruit juice and no more than 120 ml a day. Juice tends to reduce the appetite for other, more nutritious, foods, including breast milk. Too much juice can also cause diaper rash, diarrhea, or excessive weight gain.
